 Georgian Haxby Hall (that was 
demolished in 1960)

There are 12 staff who work on the
 Accident and Emergency ambulance
side.

They work 12 hour shifts:
06.00 - 18.00 and 18.00 - 06.00.

There are also another 12 staff
who work on the
out patient side which is called
Patient Transport Service.

These staff work a range of shifts
which start from 06.30 and
can finish as late as 20.00
(not the same shift however)

 

In 2002 there were usually 11 staff
working at this station

Before the Ambulance Station
there was only one ambulance in
the village it was kept in a drive
next to Ralph Butterfield School.

When more ambulances were
available they were kept in
93 The Village
(Now Northern Scientific)
